Dating, In a Relationship? Give yourself permission to be your best
Where did this come from?
Ok Joey, you're just getting corny, cringy, and maybe even weird. To be honest, if you have been reading these so far, you probably know me personally, cool, and thank you. However one thing, I have to always keep it real, and two, your opinion of me is just not my business, but hopefully it’s a good one, anyways I digress.
So where did I come up with this therapy and coaching blog post, to “Give Permission to be Your Best?” Simple, it came from the decision and action I have taken every day this month, to put pen to paper (and to publish a blog post.
You see what I learned was my best simply was taking the action I needed to take, pen to paper, and hit the publish button. As far as the content goes, some of these I’m sure were good, probably really good, others not so much, and may have fallen short of the argument (as a certain cute blonde would say).
What does your best look like?
But that’s enough about me, I want you to give yourself permission to be your best, for the next thirty days, and definitely today. It’s up to you decide what area of you life you want to focus on, and what that looks like, because chances are it doesn’t look like being like Todd V (if you are single and dating, you may know him), and chances are it doesn;t look like working out like The Rock.
You decide what your best is, usually it is something you just have to do in a way that moves your life forward, toward the values you have and the goals you want to achieve whether it is in getting in good to great shape, or being more healthy, making better financial decisions, focusing on your career, or business, or having an awesome fun, dating and relationship life.
I want you to give yourself permission today, and really if you can over the next thirty days to move your life forward in the way you want too, whether it is, going for that 30-60 minute walk, that extra 10-15 minutes of cardio, not spending money on things, you don’t need, updating your resume, or being nice and friendly to everyone (if you are single and dating), this definitely applies to you).
What if you are in a relationship? Or Married?
What might your best look like today, and definitely over the next thirty days?
If you are in a relationship, it might mean, not calling or texting your girl, just because you miss her, are thinking about her, or just feel nervous, or uncertain about your relationship.
If you want the real and simple answer, it means, backing the hell off and let her reach out to you first today, (sorry, not sorry guys).
If you are married it might mean, walking in the door, looking at your wife, smiling, giving her a hug, a kiss, saying, “Hey babe, How was your day (please for the love, use your words, not mine),” and then just shutting up and listening.
To Follow along with me.
If you are thinking about working with me, I work with men who want to work through and be their best in their dating and relationship lives, whether they are single, married, or in a relationship. As a coach, I also want you at your best, whether it’s in your personal life, your career, or even just getting in great shape, and firing on all cylinders.
